Terms of Use
DareClock · Optivio Automation · Last updated: 14 October 2026
1. The service
DareClock is an alarm clock app that requires you to complete a mission (for example exercise, a photo or a puzzle) to turn off an alarm. By using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Subscription and free trial
- DareClock requires an active subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- New subscribers may get a free trial (for example 3 days). Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active until it ends.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.
3. Physical activity
Some missions involve exercise. Only do what is safe for you, choose an easy difficulty or a non-exercise mission if you have any health condition, and stop if you feel pain or dizziness. DareClock is not medical or fitness advice.
4. Alarm reliability
We work hard to make alarms reliable, but phone settings (battery savers, Do Not Disturb, disabled notifications, a powered-off phone) can stop any alarm app. Don't rely on DareClock alone for critical events.
5. Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
6. Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Optivio Automation is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed appointments.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
